Description: B&w photograph, 4 x 31cm. Built for Charles Ebden between 1856 and 1858, Black Rock House is now classified by the National Trust and listed on the Victorian Heritage Register and the Register of the National Estate. The garden is also of local significance for its planting associated with an hisotric house. The property has undergone restoration work since being purchased by the City of Sandringham in 1974 and is now owned by Bayside City Council. Restoration and renovation is being carried out with community and Council support.
