Description: B&W photograph of the cottage where the famous Australian poet lodged for 17 months in 1869/70. He and his wife Margaret lodged with William Kelly the gardener to George Higinbotham. The cottage was situated at 10 Lewis St Brighton and it was demolised in 1946. Gordon shot himself on the Brighton foreshore on June 24th 1870
