Description: B & W photograph, 9 x 6.5cm. The front entrance of Thule, Thule Court, New Street, Brighton. The original address was New Street, Elsternwick, then New Street, Elwood, then New Street, Brighton. Possibly built by Thomas Telford before 1890 (1885). His daughter Janet was a border at P.L.C and friend of Ethel Richardson (Henry Handel Richardson) who visited Thule but certainly never lived there.
