Description: B&w photograph, 25 x 39.5cm. Hampton College opened in the Hampton Hall in 1906. The principal, Miss James, taught children from kindergarten to matriculation. The hall was also used as a church and sunday school, and a picture theatre and dance hall at the weekend.
