Description: B & W photograph, 25.5 x 20.5cm. A copy of the front page of The Sun News Pictorial which includes a photograph of the Governor Lord Stradbroke declaring Sandringham to have city status. The Mayor of Sandringham, Cr. Beck, is also photographed in his Mayoral robes, used for the first time on that day, 21 March 1923. Donated by the Beaumaris and District Historical Trust.
