Description: The Cranbourne Shire Offices, Post Office and Court House were built in 1875. The foundation stone was laid by William Lyall (1821-1888)on March 6, 1875. This was taken sometime after August 27, 1939 as that was the date the War Memorial obelisk was unveiled. You can see it front left of the building.
