Description: Soldiers Road, corner of Hudson Street, in Beaconsfield, looking south. Soldiers Road was named for a soldier settlement subdivision on land donated by Andrew Chirnside, who owned Melville Park (later known as Edrington) in Berwick. The subdivision took place just after the First World war.
