Description: Narrapumelap is an historic French Gothic style blue-stone mansion on the Western Highway just outside the town of Wickcliffe in Victoria. It was commissioned by John Dickson Wiesleskie, designed by the architectural firm of Davidson and Henderson (the designers of Barwon Park) and completed in 1878. Having suffered a long period of neglect and vandalism, the property has now been restored by the owner with the assistance the National Trust and the Historic Buildings Council, a process spanning more than a decade. The tower at Narrapumelap was originally much higher, the imposing top section having been removed by a previous owner.
