Description: Mrs. L. Morris (wife of former Warrnambool Standard editor Bruce Morris) spades in the first dirt on the time casule buried in front of the Warrnambool Art Gallery, 28 July 1986, surrounded by onlookers. The capsule was buried to commemorate the Centenary of the original Warrnambool Art Gallery and is to be recovered and opened in 2036.
