Description: Students and officials take a time capsule out to the front of the Warrnambool Art Gallery for burial, 28 July 1986. School children are Gavin Kenny (Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School), Janelle Daw (Wangoom Primary School), Scott Ogier (Warrnambool High School); officials are Mrs. L. Morris, Ron Patterson (Warrnambool Mayor) and David Hansen (Art Gallery Director). The capsule was buried to commemorate the Centenary of the original Warrnambool Art Gallery and will be recovered and opened in 2036.
