Description: Hopkins River, Warrnambool,looking towards the south. Inscription on reverse reads: 'Hopkins River showing my Grandma's boats and shed, also showing my Grandma and Uncle Abe and cousin Ruby, 1889.' [Seated male (Uncle Abe) is Andrew Abernethy Nelson Jnr., son of Frances Maria (Fanny) & Andrew Nelson Snr. Ruby May Nelson (b. 1885) is holding hands with her grandmother Fanny Nelson, who owned Nelson's Boat Sheds viewable in the background. Original inscription was written by one of Ruby's cousins, further identifying information provided courtesy of another relative.)
