Description: One of Warrnambool's outstanding architectural features, the Ozone Hotel was destroyed by fire on February 23, 1929. The four storey building was reduced to a blackened shell, damage estimated at 100,000 pounds. (The site is now occupied by the Warrnambool Hotel). This picture shows members of the fire brigade in front of the still smoking hotel.
