Description: Image provided by Tom McCarthy of Michigan. Anastasia (Statia) Cody was born in 1884. She married John Maurice Fitzgerald and died in 1924. She was the daughter of John Cody and Mary Lawrence, and was probably named after her paternal grandmother, Anastasia Walsh. The family lived in Hawke Street West Melbourne in the 1890s and ran a boarding house in King Street and later in Lonsdale Street.
