Description: Now (1934) called Zeerust. Pictured, are three different views of the palatial mansion with its archways, front entrance tower and its two storey grandiose architecture and double chimneys. Built in 1870 by Mr. Ferguson, the entrance gate was a very high one, at the corner of Toorak and Glenferrie Roads, and there were some excellent specimens of gum trees on the land. In 1903, the estate was sub-divided, and five acres of land and house were purchased by Mr. George Stevenson.
