Description: Built by Mr. Eldridge, first as a log hut, then a wood one-storey house; later a brick cottage once stood on the site on the south side of Toorak Road, later occupied by the State Savings Bank. Ricciotti Garibaldi lived here with his wife for some time. Pictured, the brick cottage partially covered by a creeper, one adult female and one child in the foreground.
