Description: Featured is the front entrance. Location is described in #2445.2. Mrs. Cassell, wife of the owner of Hawksburn House, was Scottish, and when the site was chosen, a hawk was observed near where a stream flowed, or as the Cassells, in their Scottish mode of expression, termed a bur-rn, hence Hawksburn.
