Description: View looking south, showing Claremont Street, Yarra Street, Almeida Crescent, Daly Street, the nursery (later Cunningham's Dairy) on rise in left foreground, the brickyards, the swamp which later was used as the Melbourne High School sports ground, Read's (on horizon), and the slum houses of Daly Town. The long white building is probably the ice skating rink.
