Description: Dog Competition at the Alfred Hospital Carnival, Orrong Park, 18 Jan 1946. Pictured are Mayor and Mayoress Cole, Cr. McFarlane, citizens & children with their dogs. The voting results may be seen on a blackboard behind them: Paddy 1723, Nigger 1365, Loch 593, Bubbles 363, Beema 1449, and Skippy. The boy holding Paddy is Tom Sharland (see 'Stonnington News Sheet' March 1996 p.8)
