Description: Black and white photoprint of Arthur Wilson's office in Walker Street. Wilson was a herbalist, charging 2/8 per consultation. The shop signage was in poor repair, so we are not sure of what ...will cure all diseases. Mallee Meal was being heavily promoted, to be used for porridge, curries, stews, cakes, pastry etc. Another sign claims chronic diseases successfully treated. Wilson seems to have been successful - see #8534 for a photo of the same shop renovated with brick frontage, c.1910.|The location of Wilson's office is now parkland (Princes Gardens). The MMBW plan (c.1900) shows Walker Street projecting east beyond what is today Little Chapel Street - a street created by joining two streets, Clarence and Arcade Streets.
