Description: Black and white photoprint of Thorpe's butchery in High Street - a modest, weatherboard structure. Carcases hang from hooks outside the shop on the street. A sign in the window advertises cool storage. The text notes that the location had been used by butchers since 1850 - Messrs Pipe, Pegg and Simmonds respectively.
