Description: An illustrated brief article (one page) on the first public bus service in Victoria. The buses, as pictured - kerosene fired and steam powered - were introduced by Victorian Railways on the Prahran-Malvern route. The service was abandoned after six months, largely due to the mechanical unreliability of the vehicles.
