Description: photographic portrait of Maude Gardiner or Gardner, grand-daughter of Abraham Gardner/Gardiner, who owned Mt Schank station near Mt Gambier. Maude lived at Mt Melville, also known as Noorilim, in Armadale sometime in the first half of the twentieth century. Two daughters, Dorothy Pearl (later married name Sercombe) and Sarah, lived there with her. They later moved to Huntingtower Road, Malvern.
