Description: A copy of a newspaper photograph from the Ringwood Mail in 1965 showing the Yarra River, Warrandyte, Victoria, after fthe 18631 floods with the remains of the bridge trapped in the coffer dam. The broken bridge can be seen in the background. The coffer dam was used for reclaiming gold and the picture includes the water wheel used for emptying the dam on the left. Harry Houghton is standing in the punt in front of the coffer dam. The tent of the photographer, Carl Walter, is shown in the foreground (20 cm x 25 cm)
