Description: Men working in the Yarra River, Warrandyte, Victoria, at the Pound Bend Tunnel during the 1930s Depression. Other men are watching from the riverbank. William (Bill) Hussey is standing in the middle of the group of men in the water while George Stringer is second from the right on the riverbank. The tunnel was built to divert the couse of the river to expose the river bed for goldmining. (20 cm x 25 cm)
