Org ID: CL PIC 17

Description: Size: 107 x 155 mm A view of Victoria Parade looking east. A gardener in waistcoat and hat holds a pair of hedge clippers. Trees are well established and surrounded by sparsely planted garden beds edged with rocks. A two-strand wire fence runs down the centre of the strip. White painted seats are placed at intervals and in the distance a woman dressed in white is seated on one. Nearby is a signpost, no doubt proclaiming the relevant by-law. There is very little traffic. To the left can be seen a stationary wagon outside the Sir John Franklin Hotel on the corner of Wellington Street and further down the road is one carriage. On the eastern corner of Wellington Street is an advertising hoarding. Content of image: Victoria Parade ; Sir John Franklin Hotel roads and streets parks and gardens - victoria parade median strip
