Description: Size: 149 x 199 mm Most of the foreground is vacant land in the area now taken up by Gahan's Reserve, the railway line and the Elderly Citizens' Centre. The area between Vere and Johnston streets is well-established while the streets running south off Vere Street are still sparsely settled as this area suffered from poor drainage.
