Description: Size: 203 x 252 mm A group of nine men pose in front of a half-built bi-chrome brick house. Four sit on seats improvised of hastily-stacked bricks, their feet resting on piles of broken bricks. Several wear nail-pouches and one holds a saw, and their ages range from a teenage boy to a white-bearded patriarch. The outfits they wear for their strenuous work strike the modern eye as incongruous: all wear waistcoats and hats and several wear jackets and ties as well.
