Description: An elderly Richard Walker leans on his front gate outside a simple timber single-fronted house with no verandah. Mr Walker wears a hat and waistcoat and a white beard. After sailing around the world seven times, he married Isabella Archer in Launceston in 1861, later settling in Collingwood where he lived at 161 Rupert Street for many years until his death on 1 April 1924.
