Perrin family on a picnic

1890s Perrin family on a picnic

ID: 9121
Copyright: Image held by Mrs Glad Smith
Org ID: CL PIC 274

Description: A group of women and children picnicking, probably near the sea, under what looks like ti-trees. The women are dressed in dark dresses with leg-of-mutton sleeves, the little girls in white frocks and frilly pinafores, while the little boy at the front of the group wears a wonderful striped suit, a very broad-brimmed straw hat and, rather than the heavy boots seen so often on children of this period, soft shoes with ankle straps. Identified by crosses are Harriet Isabella Perrin and her daughters Harriet (1886-1965) and Florence (1889-1908). Content of image: Perrin, Harriet Isabella ; Perrin, Harriet ; Perrin, Florence Source of image: Original held by Mrs Glad Smith families - perrin
