Description: Size: 94 x 137 mm Dunstone Brothers picture framing and enlarging shop was at 93 Johnston Street at least as early as 1919. Two men ( the one with no hat is the proprietor Alfred Dunstan) and a small boy (Keith Bradley) are posed outside the shop. Part of the shops on either side can also be seen: Samuel Richardson, tobacconist and barber at number 91, and Edgar Sibly, optician at number 95. Many family businesses lined Johnston Street serving the local community until after World War 2 when shopping trends in the area changed dramatically.
