Description: Size: 88 x 137 mm. A hand coloured postcard taken from the Studley Park side of the Yarra. To the right is the bluestone Johnston Street bridge and Johnston Street. Much of the photo is filled with trees with eucalypts in the foreground, weeping willows by the river and many European trees between Johnston Street and St. Helier's Street, including poplars, an araucaria and other conifers. A number of the houses in St. Helier's Street can be seen as well as parts of the Convent complex on the south side of the street.
