Description: A large group of children pose for a photo with a maid and a matron. The photo is undocumented: it seems to be a creche although some of the children look old enough to be at school. There are several babies in rather precarious looking chairs and children of all ages ranging from one to eight or nine. There are lots of lace collars in evidence on both boys and girls, the nurse maid wears a starched white apron and small cap, and the schoolboys wear caps or berets. This is probably the Collingwood Creche.
