Description: A studio portrait of Harry Clinton senior, his wife Florence and baby, probably Irene who was born in 1912. Their second child Harry was born in 1914. The Clintons ran a milk bar in Wellington Street opposite the Tower Hotel (now the Office Inn) for many years, from approximately 1919 unti the 1950s. They lived in Alexandra Parade and later built a house in Ballarat Street. They were part of a close network of friends in nearby streets and were very involved with St George's Presbyterian Church and its various sporting teams. Clintons shop was the plkace to meet!
