Description: Size: 236 x 360 mm A view looking south across the Darling Gardens and perhaps taken from the veranda of number 12 North Terrace. Planting is limited to the peripheries and the central area of the park is sparsely planted with rough grass. It is fenced all round with a picket fence and there are elaborate gates and gate posts. In the background starting from the right are houses in Gold, Wellington and Page Streets, the Gold Street State School, St. Andrew's Church, the shot tower and houses to the south of South Terrace.
