      Description:  Size:  243 x 356 mm A view of the wooden bridge which used to cross the Yarra at the end of Church Street and was also known as the Penny Bridge because of the penny toll charge to cross it.  In the foreground are grazing cows and some workmen.  On the far side of the bridge are several smoking chimneys and a number of factories probably including fellmongers and woolwashing works although they cannot be seen clearly.
