Description: Size: 154 x 210 mm On the corner stands the Melbourne Savings Bank (now the State Bank). Outside it are two men, one rather casual in shirt sleeves but both be-hatted. There is a post box and the gas lamp has the name of the bank on it. Next to the bank is a row of shops including a barber's with its red and white striped pole, and a saddler's. A horse and carriage are turning into Hoddle Street and a number 85 cable tram is travelling east along Victoria Street.
