Description: Size: 192 x 254 mm Part of the garden on a steep slope leading towards the river. At the top can be seen part of an elaborate latticed summerhouse. The garden was extensively terraced due to the slope. Visitors reportedly found it hard to believe that they were not in the country, a feeling that can still be reproduced when walking in this area today provided one can block out the background traffic noise from Johnston Street.
