Description: Size: 203 x 254 mm A view of the site from the far side of the river. Houses and shops in Johnston Street can be seen, the Etna Boot Factory is in the background and to the right are the grandstand at Victoria Park and the Saunders Malt Extract factory. The large building on the corner of Johnston Street and Trenerry Crescent was a cable tram depot. The Johnston Street Bridge cable tramway service was opened on 21 December 1887 and replaced by buses in 1939.
