Description: Image held at Richmond Library. A snapshot taken outside, showing Sergeant Firth posing in his uniform against the back wall of a weatherboard house. He is leaning on a windo sill next to a small bird cage, and rests his left foot on a gully trap. Notes accompanying the photograph read: 'Victor Firth in World War II uniform. Victor worked at Phoenix Electroplating in Punt Rd and Gough St prior to 1940. He had a shop near East Richmond Station after the war, silver plating and repairing silverwork.'
