Co Lim. desire to express our sincere thanks and appreciation of your kindness and liberality displayed in granting the handsome bonus of 800 (pounds) this day received by us. We feel assured you will find in the future that your generosity will have the effect of stimulating the zeal and interest of each man in his respective sphere in the Company's service. We hope that increased prosperity in its large business may continually attend the Company and that health and happiness may always be the lot of the Directors individually. 17th May 1881.'
