Description: Image held by Richmond Library. Series of five images showing the construction of the concrete bridge. The original iron bridge had been purchased from the British government at the end of the Crimean War and erected to link Chapel and Church Streets. It was replaced by a new concrete bridge which was opened in 1924. For further information refer to Richmond Library local history files RFC 236 and RFC 472.
